Speaker Bio

Marcelo is a Technical Business Developer on the AWS deep engine engineering team. He works with customers to accelerate their deep learning use cases with Apache MXNet, an open source deep learning framework. Marcelo was most recently with C3 IoT, a strategic AWS partner that provides a PaaS for customers to build and deploy SaaS applications using artificial intelligence and machine learning. He was focused on business development, partnerships, and sales operations. Prior to that he has held various business development and partnership roles with Veritas, Symantec, PGP Corporation, SuccessFactors, and Sun Microsystems. Marcelo holds an engineering degree from University of Virginia and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
