Dr. Phillips is an Industrial Organizational Psychologist with Pearson TalentLens. With 15+ years of training and experience in recruitment, training development/evaluation, test development/validation, and selection, she serves as a product expert fielding questions from customers and senior executives regarding high- level issues in selection and development that may arise during consultation with clients, training course development or test development and validation. In her role as Senior Research Director she works closely with key stakeholders to define a long-term talent selection and assessment strategy for Pearson and collaborates with the content experts in the global Research and Development Team to develop assessments and webinars/training courses centered on Pearson’s psychometric test portfolio for both U.S and global usage. In previous roles as an assessment specialist, internal consultant, acting chief of talent assessment, and testing division manager, she has worked with many customers to develop, customize and validate assessments in addition to serving as an expert on related litigation cases regarding selection, promotion, and layoff. Her widespread experience across diverse aspects of the testing and selection processes spanning both the private and public sectors has afforded her a deep understanding of proper test development, validation and usage of psychometric and psychological assessments in the workplace.
